Stassi Schroeder became a household name during her time on Vanderpump Rules. The self-appointed “Devil” wasn’t afraid to speak her mind to her fellow SUR employees and when it came down to bending down to Lisa Vanderpump or getting fired, Schroeder happily left SUR behind (but was still on the show). That was until 2020.
In 2020, Schroeder, along with fellow cast mate Kristen Doute, were let go from Vanderpump Rules after Faith Stowers revealed that Doute and Schroeder called in a fake police report against Stowers after she had an affair with Jax Taylor, both Doute and Schroeder’s ex. Their actions were dangerous towards Stowers and led to both being let go from the show.
Now, in 2026, Schroeder is back with her new series: House of Stassi. The Hulu series is all about Schroeder’s family with Beau Clark and how they’re navigating her life post-Vanderpump Rules, what she learned from the incident with Stowers, and how she still has the “Dark Passenger” within her. Schroeder’s post-Vanderpump Rules life hasn’t been all off screen. She returned with Vanderpump for Vanderpump Villa and has been slowly rebuilding her status as the evil queen we love to watch.
Now, her Hulu show details a more “human” side to Schroeder. She’s not just yelling out iconic quotes at a cheating boyfriend. She’s dealing with the Vanderpump Rules fall out, marriage issues, loving her kids but needing a break, and drama with her family. But the New Orleans girl who was just the right amount of weird has made magic with season 1 of House of Stassi.
Thrilling reality television

Part of what makes House of Stassi a better vehicle for Schroeder does come from the fact that she’s owning the things she’s done in the past. In one episode, Schroeder has to talk about what she did to Stowers when her friends Gabriella Sanon and Sher Suarez from Vanderpump Villa address it. Both Sanon and Suarez didn’t know when they met Schroeder what she’d done to Stowers and even tell her that if they did, they wouldn’t have been warm to her.
While their reaction isn’t surprising and is warranted, it is Schroeder’s response that shows that she has changed from the Vanderpump Rules girl who would happily shut down people who got in her way. And maybe that’s what makes House of Stassi such a fascinating watch. Because she still has her moments when she’s the “Stassi” we know from Vanderpump Rules but there is a difference in her.
The show doesn’t hide Schroeder’s issues with her mom or the struggles that she’s facing with her marriage. And it allows an audience into the most intimate parts of Schroeder’s life. And maybe that’s the kind of world Schroeder needed from the start of her reality television show career. But for now, we get to enjoy the first season of House of Stassi with the promise of more of Schroeder and her family to come when they finally announce a season 2!
