Prime Video’s Fallout is already hurtling towards a season three in production later this month in Los Angeles, but the casting mill isn’t finished. The third season has already added Aaron Paul in a recurring role but now he’ll be joined by Manny Jacinto, Emily Mortimer, and Thomasin McKenzie in recurring roles.
Fallout is based on the massively popular video game series from Bethesda Softworks that’s set in a post-apocalyptic landscape where there’s nothing left to have besides spoiled beans and radioactive mutants. Set two-hundred years after the nuclear apocalypse, the show follows Lucy (played by Ella Purnell) as she navigates life outside of her Vault. Those who escaped the blasts lived in Vaults until they went out into the outside world and found that it was at least a bit normal, considering the circumstances. She’s joined by The Ghoul (played by Walton Goggins) and the second season saw them heading to New Vegas.
The show also stars Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moises Arias, Frances Turner, Annabel O’Hagan, and Dave Register. Fallout is one of Prime Video’s most watched series ever with 100 million viewers worldwide. The show is produced by Kilter Films from executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Lisa Joy, and Athena Wickham. Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner are the Showrunners and creators.
As for who the new characters are going to be is under wraps like it was with Aaron Paul’s announcement. Fallout season three should release on Prime Video at some point in 2027.
Where Have You Seen These Actors Before?

Starting off with Manny Jacinto, he starred in the Star Wars Disney+ series The Acolyte. He played The Stranger in the series that lasted for one season. He can also be heard in the upcoming Dreamworks animated film Forgotten Island, which releases on September 25th, 2026. Jacinto also starred in the sequel Freakier Friday with Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan.
Mortimer wrote, directed, and starred in the limited series The Pursuit Of Love for the BBC and Amazon and was also a key part of the HBO series Doll and Em. He co-writing doesn’t stop there though, she also co-wrote the awards contender Jay Kelly with Noah Baumbach and starred in the film. She’s got her feature directorial debut coming up with Dennis at A24.
Finally, McKenzie was recently in the films The Testament of Ann Lee and Fackham Hall, and she’ll also be in The Uprising from Paul Greengrass. She’s previously appeared in Jojo Rabbit, Last Night In Soho, and The Power Of The Dog.
It sure looks like Fallout season three is adding some serious star power to go along with the series regulars. We’ll have to see when the show releases sometime in 2027.
