Vice’s Dark Side of the Ring is back for another season. Jeff Jarrett’s journey through Total Nonstop Action Wrestling serves as the jumping off point for the 7th season of The Beloved program. Things kick off on July 7th at 9:00 PM Eastern.

Dark Side of the Ring is starting off with a bang. Or, maybe a guitar smash. Wrestling legend Jeff Jarrett is ready to walk us through the history of Total Nonstop Action. And, you know that TNA has been the home of some pretty iconic moments in the history of the business.
If you’re interested in this pivotal chapter in wrestling history, we’ve got a release date for Dark Side of the Ring. Fans can check out all the behind the scenes details on TNA, July 7 at 9pm ET. There’s two episodes premiering that night. Then, the last episode will conclude Jarrett’s tale.
A Bit Side-Questy, But A Big Moment At The End
Wrestling has reached a high-point in culture right now. A lot of older fans may point to WWE’s Attitude Era as the moment of the most cultural saturation. But, recent years would give it a run for its money.
Speaking to Variety, VICE TV’s Pete Gaffney explained how that prominence is a large part of how Dark Side of the Ring continues to endure
“’Dark Side of the Ring’ is one of our strongest franchises that speaks to our audience with its gritty exposition of the real emotional and physical costs behind professional wrestling,” Vice TV president Pete Gaffney told the outlet.
He continued, “Wrestling is one of America’s most influential pop culture phenomenons, and this series further explores the blurred lines between wrestling’s spectacle and reality, ultimately uncovering the truths behind the stories fans thought they knew.”
