Amazon MGM Studios has released the trailer for Michael B. Jordan’s The Thomas Crown Affair. This will be the third imagining of the story of art thief Thomas Crown. The first film was released in 1968 and starred Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway. Then, in 1999, Pierce Brosnan and Rene Russo starred in a remake. The film is also Jordan’s second time as a director, having previously helmed Creed III. The Thomas Crown Affair will premiere in theaters on March 5, 2027. Plot details on the film are being held back, but based on the teaser, a globe-trotting cat-and-mouse thriller. Although it’s the third Thomas Crown film to be made, Jordan has stated it is a reimagining, not a remake.
