Get ready for Lanterns, the latest show to come from DC Studios and HBO. The new series stars Aaron Pierre and Kyle Chandler.

Chris Mundy, Tom King and Damon Lindelof share creator credits on Lanterns. Aaron Pierre plays John Stewart. Kyle Chandler brings some grizzled charm to Hal Jordan. Early discussion of the DC Studios series teased “True Detective in Space.”

Lanterns has a release date of August 2026.
