Backstreet Boys Team-Up w/ The Paw Patrol
Buckle up, pups. We’ve got a brand-new crossover with the Backstreet Boys and Paw Patrol ahead of the new animated film. The iconic boyband delivers “Bottle Up” from Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie. Paramount is excited for fans to hear the new song and has helped spread the word on social media. I truly never thought I would see these dudes singing alongisde animated dogs. But, there’s a first time for everything.
Spin Master Entertainment and Paramount Animation are prepping for a big summer with Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie. It hits theaters on August 14. If you’re down for an upbeat dance-focused track, “Bottle Up” serves that role nicely.
More than anything, for fans of a certain age, it’s just nice to see the boys having fun. They might be a little older, but they still know how to have a good time. Check out the Paw Patrol and the Backstreet Boys dancing to the new single up top.
The Band Talks About Their New Song
With the song available for pre-save this week, the Backstreet Boys sat down to talk about “Bottle Up” and what it meant for them. Also, how their kids reacted to the news that their dads would be a part of Paw Patrol.
“We get to be a part of something so amazing that our kids love,” they began. ” My daughter, when I told her that her daddy and her uncles are gonna be doing a song for Paw Patrol, they were like ‘What?!’ Major cool points for dad.”
The boys continued, “To me, it’s about a feeling that you get from somebody, and you don’t want to let it go. You just want to bottle up in that moment.”
A Bit Side-Questy, But A Big Moment At The End
Here’s how Paramount describes the latest adventure. “After their ship gets caught in a mysterious storm, the PAW Patrol pups crash land on an uncharted tropical island filled with dinosaurs. They meet Rex, a pup who has been stranded on the island for years and has become an expert in all things dino-related.”
“When the PAW Patrol’s archrival, Mayor Humdinger, begins recklessly mining in hopes of exploiting the island for its natural resources, he inadvertently causes a huge, dormant volcano to erupt.”
The PAW Patrol pups are thrown into a series of high-stakes, dino-sized rescues bigger than anything they’ve done before, as they must stop Humdinger before everything on the island goes extinct.
Paw Patrol: The Dino Movie dances into theaters August 14.
